Virat Kohli is undoubtedly one of the strongest athletes in the world and people look up to him because he is a youth icon. The Indian skipper sets fitness goals for the masses as well as other professional athletes around the world. Virat Kohli’s diet keeps him alert while playing cricket. As he said, he is a foodie but conscientious. He is careful about choosing the right food even when he is bored.


This helps him get rid of unwanted body fat. If you’re in the mood for fried chips, Kohli offers wheat crackers to satisfy your craving for crunchy bites between meals. His nutritionist developed a diet based on his activities and lifestyle. As an athlete, he follows a low-carb, high-protein diet to maintain his body fat percentage. On match day, Virat Kohli’s diet changes to stay strong throughout the day, be it game or net.


Virat’s current diet includes protein shakes, vegetables and beans. Kohli eat many small meals throughout the day rather than large meals. I enjoy eating fresh seasonal fruits such as watermelon, papaya, and dragon fruit. On ‘Breakfast with Champions,’ hosted by actor and host Gaurav Kapoor, Virat revealed that she usually carries a nut butter collection with her gluten-free bread. Kohli is a huge fan of green tea and has passed this passion on to team members like Hardik Pandya.


Virat says he drinks at least three to four cups of green tea with a hint of lemon throughout the day. Green tea isn’t the only way Kohli stays hydrated. Virat also drinks a lot of vegetable soups and broths made with fresh vegetables such as beets and spinach. Kohli also eat a lot of grilled vegetables.
