Things you need:
- Turmeric powder – 7 tablespoon
- Dry ginger powder – 2 tablespoon
- Cumin seeds – 4 tablespoon
- Coriander seeds – 4 tablespoon
- Fennel seeds – 7 tablespoon
- Black pepper – 2 tablespoon
- Cinnamon powder – 1/2 tablespoon
- Cardamom powder – 3 tablespoon
How to make:
- Set aside turmeric and dry ginger powders in a bowl.
- Dry roast the rest of the ingredients on low flame until they turn aromatic. Keep caution not to burn the spices.
- Take it off the flame, and allow it to cool down. Then transfer the ingredients to a grinder and grind them into a fine powder.
- Then, add the turmeric and dry ginger powder to the freshly ground powder and mix well.
- Store this immune booster powder in a clean, dry, air-tight glass container.
How to use:
You may have the powder on its own or along with your meal. Add 1/4-1 teaspoon of this powder to a glass of warm water, and drink it every morning. At times, you may also add the powder to soups, dhal, gravy, or smoothies.

- Tulsi – 4 parts
- Cinnamon stick or bark – 2 parts
- Dry ginger root – 2 parts
- Whole black pepper – 1 part
How to make herbal tea:
- Place a thick bottom pan on low flame. Dry roast the ingredients until the fresh aroma fills up the kitchen. Stir in between to avoid burning.
- Turn off the heat and spread the ingredients on a dry plate to cool completely.
- Once completely cool, grind it into a fine powder.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon of this herbal tea powder to a cup of piping hot water to make your own tea. If you like your tea stronger, let it boil for a couple of minutes.
