Calories are  Count of energy produced through foods. These Calories helps in performing daily operations. Low calorie diet is a diet which has low calories but ample nutrients. Low calorie diets can be specifically followed by people who follow weight related issues , pregnant or nursing women and others who are  recommended by physician to follow strict diet pattern.
